As briefed in the home page, our organisation is categorized as an SME, active in trading and agency business. Our suppliers are world-renowned, respectable conglomerates with stringent modus operandi and therefore there is little risk of modern slavery on our supply side. Our customers are in Eastern Med markets, of which some are unstructured.
OUR POLICIES
Our policies relevant to the identification of modern slavery, human rights, environmental, as well as health and safety risks in our supply chain is to denounce and report any risks observed, but our measures are limited to propagation of the immorality and the criminality of these issues to our clients as these matters within our supply chain are not transparent to our organization.
OUR EFFECTIVENESS IN ELIMINATING MODERN SLAVERY
As we are limited in scale, we can confidently confirm that there is no risk of modern slavery in our organization. Due to our limited resources as SME our effectiveness in ensuring modern slavery in our supply chain is insignificant, regardless of the fact that we feel responsible in eradication of modern slavery and are diligently attentive to the risks.
SOCIAL COMPLIANCE POLICY
Avortex Limited’s social compliance policy implements guidelines that enforce the abolition of child labor, elimination of all forms of forced or compulsory labor, elimination of discrimination concerning employment and occupation, and upholding freedom of association. Applies local authorities' laws and regulations and Avortex Limited’s founding principles.
Abolition of Child Labor
Except in cases where it is required like with interns, the minimum age established by national law is taken into consideration.
Elimination of All Forms of Forced or Compulsory Labor
Avortex Limited abolishes all forms of forced and compulsory labor. Employment relations are voluntary and consensual. Employees cannot be subject to any forced or compulsory demand.
Elimination of Discrimination with Respect to Employment and Occupation
Avortex Limited upholds its practices as an environment where there is no discrimination based on race, gender, color, nationality, social origin, religion, age, handicap, or political opinion, protected by applicable law. There is absolutely no discrimination in the practices of employment and occupation.
